My name is Teresa, and I’ve carried the dream of becoming a mother since I was five years old. I still remember lying awake during kindergarten nap time, imagining how wonderful it would be if I was the mother to the child that was sleeping on the cot. That dream has stayed with me through every milestone in my life and my sister’s life—I’ve always pictured what it would be like to experience those moments as a parent.

In March 2019, I was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome), a condition that makes natural conception extremely difficult. After years of trying, my OBGYN referred me to a fertility clinic in August 2023. I underwent three IUI treatments, each ending in heartbreak. My doctors then recommended IVF as the next step, but unfortunately, I ran out of funds before I could begin.

IVF offers me the best chance for my husband and I to finally hold the child I’ve dreamed of for so long. The costs, however, are overwhelming—between medications, procedures, and multiple cycles, the expenses can reach tens of thousands of dollars.
