Help Support Teresa’s Fight Against Glioblastoma

Hello, my name is Nicolletta, and I’m reaching out during one of the most challenging times my family has ever faced. My mom, Teresa, was recently diagnosed with Glioblastoma, an aggressive and fast-growing brain tumor. This diagnosis has brought unimaginable pain and hardship to our lives.

Glioblastoma is one of the hardest cancers to treat. Despite undergoing surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation, the survival rate remains very low. My mom has already had brain surgery and has been in and out of the hospital due to complications. The medical bills and insurance issues are mounting rapidly, and we are struggling to keep up with the costs of her treatments and care.

I live in Tampa with my husband and three young children, my brother Tyler lives in Texas with his wife and their new baby boy, while my parents are in Plantation.

My dad and mom, high school sweethearts married for 43 years, have a love that has always been beautiful and enduring. Right now, my dad is by her side every day, trying to support her through this illness while also dealing with overwhelming insurance issues and balancing work. It’s a lot for one person to handle.

My brother and I have been doing everything we can to support our parents, but this has taken a huge toll on us emotionally and financially. My mom has always been the heart of our family. She’s the one who always made sure our home was filled with love, warmth, and laughter. It’s incredibly painful to see her go through this.

We are doing our best to care for her, but the financial burden is overwhelming. The cost of treatment, hospital stays, and ongoing care is adding up, and insurance has not been enough to cover it all. That’s why we’re asking for help. We hope to raise $500,000 to cover her medical expenses, but any amount—no matter how small—would mean the world to us. Every donation will go directly toward her care and will make a huge difference in our ability to keep supporting her during this fight.
