Our beloved Teresa Smith has recently suffered an Ischemic stroke and is now living with aphasia, a condition that significantly impacts her ability to communicate, as well as difficulty with mobility on her left side. This unexpected medical emergency has brought major changes to her life and will require a long road to recovery, filled with therapy, adaptive tools, and continuous support. Teresa is a mother, a sister, a friend, and so much more to so many people. Her warmth, strength, and presence have touched countless lives, and now she needs our help more than ever.

Teresa will need ongoing medical care and specialized resources to help her adjust to her new needs and reclaim as much independence as possible.
