Como muchos de ustedes conocen , mi madre, Teresa Nunez Luque, una mujer increíble de 38 años que siempre ha priorizado a los demás, ahora necesita nuestro apoyo.

Nunca imaginé que mi madre necesitaría un nuevo corazón. A pesar del amor que siente por nosotros, sus hijos, mi padre y toda nuestra familia, creíamos que su corazón estaba sano.

Le diagnosticaron insuficiencia cardíaca terminal. ¡A tan temprana edad, tiene que luchar contra su propio corazón para sobrevivir por nosotros! Sé que mi madre es una mujer fuerte y sabe que la necesitamos aquí con nosotros.

Sin embargo, los enormes costos asociados con un trasplante de corazón representan un obstáculo abrumador, incluso con seguro médico. El procedimiento en sí, los medicamentos antirrechazo que debe tomar de por vida, los gastos de viaje y reubicación, y la necesidad de cuidados postrasplante continuos representan una carga financiera considerable.

A Mother’s Journey to a new heart.

As many of you know my mother Teresa Nunez Luque , an amazing 38 year old woman who has always put others first, now is in need of our support.

Never could I have imagined my mother needing a new heart. As big as the love that she has for us, her children, my father and all of our family, we believed her heart was healthy.

She’s been diagnosed with end stage heart failure. At such a young age, she is having to battle her own heart to survive for us! I know my mom is a strong woman, and she knows we need her here with us.

However, the immense costs associated with a heart transplant create a daunting hurdle, even with insurance. The procedure itself, anti-rejection medications that must be taken for life, travel and relocation expenses, and the need for ongoing post-transplant care represent a substantial financial burden.

We are seeking donations to support my Mom on her journey to a new heart. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help alleviate the financial strain and allow my mom to focus on her health and ❤️‍ recovery and not stress and worry for our finances.
