While many of you likely already know her, I'd like to formally introduce you to Teresa Garza. Teresa is a mother to two: Joshua (myself) and Daniel (my older brother). In June 2024, Teresa was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer - a somewhat unique form of the disease. It is Stage 4 and has metastasized into her lungs. Luckily, it can be managed through weekly chemotherapy but she will be in treatment indefinitely.

I have one humble request for friends and family of Teresa - help me help her to retain some normalcy and dignity by assisting her with some things that will make her feel good about herself: a wig, maybe some small comforts as she deals with the tough side effects of chemo.

Even if you can’t afford to help financially, I know she reads every kind letter or message she receives from her friends, family, and even well-wishing strangers.
