Hi, I am Reece Lamb. My Mom, Teresa, is currently undergoing treatments for a painful cancer. Anyone who knows her knows she's strong and private, so asking for help does not come easily - but right now, she truly needs it.

Teresa spent her life caring for others. She was a Montessori school teacher, devoted to nurturing young children with patience, creativity and kindness. She was also a single mother, doing everything she could to provide, often putting her needs last. Teresa is currently unable to work.

Now, she's facing mounting challenges all at once. Along with cancer treatments, she has significant medical, prescription and pain management expenses that are not fully covered by insurance. Her car has been in the shop, creating additional unexpected expenses. A surprise dental emergency-also not covered- has added yet another financial burden. Living on a senior's income, she has fallen seriously behind on several bills.

As if that weren't enough, her beloved dog is also sick, and she simply cannot afford the veterinary care needed. Losing her dog-or watching him suffer-has been heartbreaking on top of everything else.

This fundraiser is for my Mom, Teresa. In one of the photos above (we'll fix the the sizing soon), she spent 2 weeks with me in early 2020 while I was hospitalized, taking leave from work to care for me when I needed it most. Now I want to be there for her.

Any contribution - no matter the amount-- will help relieve some of the overwhelming stress she's carrying and allow her to focus on healing. She will be deeply grateful, and so will I. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any support you're able to give.
