Dear friends and family,

As most of you know, Teresa's husband, Jeff, was diagnosed with throat cancer a little over a year ago. After undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatments, he's now in hospice care.

Teresa has had a lot of challenges the past two years. She lost her father a year ago; two months later, her mother suffered a stroke. She's always been a caregiver, never once complaining.

Teresa's been the sole provider since Jeff's cancer diagnosis. Six weeks ago, she was forced to make a life-altering decision to take unpaid time off from her job in order to assist with Jeff's at-home care.

Teresa has always been a hard worker, with a heart of gold. She's the first one to offer help to anyone at any time. She's loved by everyone and has never met a stranger she didn't like. She would never ask, but Teresa desperately needs our help. She's now facing mounting bills due to her loss of income and expending all of her personal leave while caring for her husband.
