Hello, my name is Becky and I'm a physical therapist at a rural critical access hospital. I have had the honor of working with a young man named Tenzin for almost 2 years now. He has just turned 20 years old and for the last 4 years has been fighting to regain his independence. He has survived a rare blood cancer, numerous infections, brain surgery, and a life-changing stroke. He spent an entire year in the hospital, with his amazing mother living in an RV in the parking lot so she could be there every day for him. I have witnessed him go from needing a power wheelchair and assistance with almost everything to now walking with a cane. He fights every day to gain back what he has lost and to complete the simplest tasks at times that we all take for granted.

I would like to continue to help him regain his independence now and into the future. I am asking for $10,000 to pay for an ADAPTIVE TRICYCLE for him to use both for exercise to continue his rehabilitation and potentially as a means of transportation around the lovely town of Port Townsend, WA.
