Support Tennessee's Recovery and Rent Needs

After a series of accidents this summer, my brother needs help paying rent for the month of August. He works as a bike messenger, which means that when he is injured, or his bike is damaged, his only source of income is deeply affected. In June, he suffered a head injury after a car hit him on his bike, which put him out of work for around two weeks. Earlier this month his bike was hit by a car, which set him back financially once again. Last weekend, he broke his right leg and is unable to bike or walk. He needs surgery on his ankle, and at least 6-8 weeks of recovery in a cast. Up until this point, he has subsisted on savings and the help of his family, but after losing so much work he now needs the help of his community to get him through this. His rent is $550/month, and factoring in other expenses such as food, utilities, and medical bills - and considering he has no source of income during this time - I am setting the donation goal at $2000. Edit: After more thought, I have decided to raise the donation price. The original price I put was made mostly to cover past injuries from this summer and give Tennessee two months' rent of recovery time. I have raised it to $3000 to give him more funds to cover any medical bills, and give him more time to recover. After his surgery, he will be in a cast for 6-8 week at least, and following that any additional time off of work will allow his injuries (specifically his leg) to heal better.
