Support Tenisha's Dream: A Food Trailer for LoveTAB

Hello, my name is Tenisha Harris and I am the owner of LoveTAB Gourmet Apples. We specialize in homemade caramel apples, turtles, gourmet nuts, and other delicious treats. I started my business back in 2016 in honor of my son, Tariq Anthony Butler, who passed away at the age of 2 years old from neuroblastoma cancer back in 2006.
What started off as just a hobby ended up being one of the best things that has happened to me. I've been participating at weekly community farmers markets for the past 3 years, as well as other events, and I absolutely love it. I have 3 daughters (13, 15, and 26) that help me, and I couldn't be more thankful. They encourage me to push every single day, as I am a one-man band.
My dream right now is to purchase a food trailer and become the first candy apple trailer driving around in the DFW area and also travel outside of Texas one day. We won't have to keep hauling our delicious apples in the summertime heat. We'll be able to prepare and sell them right from the trailer. It'll also help me and my workers to stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter. It's quite aggravating and quite discouraging displaying my caramel apples for them to only melt, so I invested in a refrigerated display to help with sales and keep them cool, but it's heavy and it's on its last leg... so it's time to upgrade. Your donation will help to pay for my trailer, repairs, and equipment.
Our business supports and donates a percentage of our proceeds to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and George Mark Children's House. We spread awareness to our community about this horrible childhood disease.
