On July 10th 2025 our lives were forever changed when we learned our baby girl Maggie Lee's heart had stopped somewhere between week 16 and week 20 of Hannah's pregnancy.

We went in for a routine 20 week appointment but instead got the most devastating news. Our girl was gone.

On July 15th Hannah had surgery at Albany Med, and Maggie Lee was born. Her recovery both physically and emotionally since then has been nothing short of a nightmare on top of an already horrible experience.

I have been out of work since the day we found out, July 10th. I am set to go back to work this upcoming week. But in the time that has passed, we have already begun to fall behind. Our rent and car payment are both going to be short in August, for the weeks I missed work and was not able to contribute.

My last check went to Maggie's cremation, which was an unexpected and unplanned cost we weren't anticipating having to deal with this month, or in general.

While I am planning to go back to work soon, we have the added stress of worrying about being short with bills while trying to grieve this unexpected and devastating loss as well.

While we are not having a formal service, we did choose to have Maggie Lee cremated, so she can at least come home with us in some way.
