Hi everyone! We are Temple Agni, a student-run Bollywood Fusion dance team founded at Temple University in 2003. Several young ladies had a vision to create a female dance troupe that would spread South Asian culture through the art of dance. Agni combines a variety of dance styles and truly creates a fusion of East meets West while combining traditional Indian classical dance with Hip Hop, Contemporary, Bhangra, etc. We welcome dancers from all backgrounds and our vision is to ignite the passion of dance.

We have been invited to perform at city-wide locations, including City Hall, the Philadelphia Zoo, and a Philadelphia 76ers game! Each spring, we participate in competitions located throughout the country. Last year, we placed first and top three in the competitions we were accepted to take part in.

Each year, we spend approximately $10,000 on travel, costumes, music mixes, production for our set, and more. We need your help to have a successful competition season. A little goes a long way, and we appreciate any donation you have to offer!
