Tori and Brandon are devoted parents to four children: Jenny (15), Carson (14), Tyler (12), and their youngest, Tempie, who is just 4 months old. Tempie has complex medical needs that have led to multiple unexpected hospital stays, countless appointments, and several procedures since September. She has been such a fighter through everything, showing strength far beyond her little age.

Right now Tempie relies on an NJ (Nasojejunal) feeding tube to get the nutrition she needs. Unfortunately, this tube has caused frequent complications, leading to many unexpected hospital visits, overnight stays, and outpatient follow-up.

November 4th, she will undergo a procedure to place a PEG-J (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy-Jejunostomy) tube, which she will depend on for feeding long term. This surgery will require another hospital stay, follow-up appointments, and continued medical care. Depending on how she grows and responds, there may be additional procedures or hospitalizations in the future depending on her progress.

These past few months have been overwhelming for the family — emotionally, physically, and financially. Because one of them always needs to be with her, time spent at work has been very limited. On top of medical expenses not fully covered by insurance, they’ve had ongoing costs for travel, hospital parking, time off work, and specialized supplies for her care.
