Hello Friends and Family of Tegan!
As you all know, Tegan loves skiing about as much as anything in this life. With the incredible technology of the TetraSki, he can now control the ski and make his own turns. This independence is life-changing and has grown his love for skiing even more. However, Tegan is a man of small margins and getting the set-up just right so he can control it has proven to be a tricky task! This last spring, his pit-crew got his set up dialed in just right and he went around every single race gate, no sweat! He proved what his team has always believed, that he can do it... we just have to get it accessible for him. The very next day we were not able to re-create the set up again and he went back to struggling to controling it (did I mention the very fine margins we are working with!) His team hasn't given up and in fact it has grown, as Tegan so easily recruits people to his cause with his smile, light, sense of humor, and most of all his persistance that is so perfectly complimented by his never-ending patience.
TRAILS Adaptive is where the TetraSki was born and where the TetraSki experts are. Tegan has had the opportunity to work with them and it has been great. We are fundraising to be able to take him down to Utah a few more times this winter and hopefully really get his set-up dialed in so that he can go out everytime and have the ability to control the ski... then the turns are up to him! Tegan will also be practicing regularly at his home mountain with Higher Ground.
A few words from Tegan:
"I want to be a TetraSki racer. I need to go to Salt Lake City! TRAILS people are the experts at TetraSki. I need big help with my TetraSki setup. Please donate to my goal if you can!"
