Tegan and I have known each other for a number of years, and our friendship has been built on getting through some very difficult life changes together. Now, she and her husband Kurt are facing another life-changing event. Tegan found her forever person a long time ago, and after reconnecting, they were finally able to marry. Their love and support for each other has always inspired me, and now they need our help more than ever.

Recently, Kurt was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor and will need surgery to remove it. This means he will be out of work for several weeks, and unfortunately, he will not receive any income during his recovery. The financial burden of medical bills and everyday living expenses is overwhelming for their family. Tegan and Kurt are two of the most supportive people I know—they love their children, care for their animals, and always make time and space for anyone in need.
