Hey folks! Last week I found a 2 month old kitten hiding behind a trash can, meowing her little head off.
Although skittish at first she quickly opened up and began to purr. I couldn’t fathom just leaving her there.
I noticed very quickly that she had a bad limp favoring her right hind leg, I assumed that it may have just be a bad sprain. After taking a closer look I decided to take her to the vet to have some x-rays done. I was genuinely shocked to see that there was a full break. Considering how happy and playful she was.
The most viable option given to us is an amputation. As plate surgery to retain her leg may have complications as she grows. The Vet has ensured me that she will be able to live life to the fullest as a tripod kitty. Completion of this surgery will free her of all the pain that she has tried so hard to suppress.
Despite her broken leg, she has proven to be the sweetest most playful girl. And even obtained the title of purr machine and professional biscuit baker.
I’m not one to ask for help. But at this time I have to swallow my pride for this little unexpected sweet ball joy.
Any bit will help. I plan to pay for the remainder if the goal is not met. And if it is met with money left over I plan on donating it to a local animal shelter.
Thank you for taking time out of your day to check out this post.
Teessy and I are forever grateful!
