Teepa Snow and Positive Approach to Care Need Your Support!
Teepa Snow founded Positive Approach to Care in 2006 with the mission of transforming existing dementia care into a more positive care culture for people living with dementia and those caring for them. Using methods Teepa developed over forty years our team provides a wide variety of dementia care resources, education, training, and services for professional and family care partners around the globe in both in-person and online programs.
Due to COVID-19 all of Teepa's educational talks and our team's in-person workshops and events have been cancelled through at least June 2020, eliminating our two main sources of revenue. This has resulted in serious financial hardship for Positive Approach to Care as we try to survive, shift, survive and create more virtual services, trainings and resources for the new normal of virtual only events.
We are asking our friends and supporters to consider helping us in this transition by contributing funds to be used towards the purchase of equipment and software needed to create, film, edit and produce higher quality videos, resources and live virtual events. As always we continue to offer many free videos, resources, and events in addition to our paid resources and trainings. During this period Teepa is also foregoing her salary to enable other members of her team to continue their work.
We understand that everyone is facing their own financial hardship right now, but if you’re able to help us, your generous contribution would go 100% towards helping Teepa and our team continue fulfilling our mission in this virtual world where we can no longer do in person events.
