Recently, we received devastating news from the vet about my sweet Teddy. After testing, he was diagnosed with a severe systemic liver shunt. His numbers are extremely high, and we were told he will need specialized surgery as soon as possible to give him a real chance at a healthy life.

Teddy is the sweetest little Yorkie with the biggest personality and so much love packed into such a tiny body. He brings so much comfort and joy into my life, and anyone who has met him knows just how special he truly is.

We are currently being referred to specialists and surgeons, and the estimated cost for his surgery, testing, medications, and care is around $7,000.

If you know me, you know how deeply I love and care for my animals. They are family to me, and Teddy deserves every chance possible to live a long, healthy, happy life.

I honestly hate asking for help, but I cannot do this alone.
