Hello, my name is Tomi, and I am Tedd Martella’s mother. I am starting this GoFundMe to support Tedd on his long road to recovery after a traumatic brain injury (TBI). On November 23rd, Tedd suffered a devastating accident when he fell two stories and landed on his head. He was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where surgeons immediately performed emergency brain surgery. Due to a severe brain bleed, part of his skull had to be removed. Tedd is only at the beginning of what doctors expect will be at least a year-long recovery. This journey will require extensive medical care, rehabilitation, and daily support.

This accident has deeply impacted Tedd’s ability to cover ongoing medical costs, hospital bills, therapy and rehabilitation sessions, support for his two boys who reside with him, rent and living expenses, and essential supplies for his recovery. The financial burden is overwhelming, and our family is doing everything we can to help Tedd focus fully on healing.
