My name is Kassi Provost.

I created this GoFundMe for my Super Hero, my Daddy, Ted Simpson.

He is and always has been a devoted husband and incredible father to all four of his children.

Not to mention the best Pappy in the world to his grandchildren.

A true friend.

A man built on morals, respect, integrity, incredible work ethic, and a devoted love for Jesus.

A man who would work all day and all night to provide for all of his loved ones.

Giving graciously to any family or friend in need.

A man who never buys himself anything, only gives to others.

Who always puts his family first no matter what.

A man who would give the shirt off his back to a total stranger.

A man who would give his last dollar to someone in need.

A true lineman.

There's a good chance if your power was out one night, he was the one that put it back on. Working through hurricanes, snowstorms, you name it. He'd come home from work that night and still take care of his family. He looked tired, but he always had a smile on his face and a silly joke to make.

The man who leaves his home and his family to make sure others are taken care of.

It is not just a paycheck to him; it is his honor and duty.

A true patriarch to our family, a leader, lover, and a giver.

A man who would go to work with pneumonia or a broken back.

Nothing has ever been able to stop him from doing what he loves.

He is supposed to retire this year. We have had exciting talks about how amazing it will be when he and Mom come home.

All the times we will share together as a family.

He joked about just because he wasn’t going to be working, he would still be working. That man never stops. One of his biggest dreams is to retire and open up his own hotdog truck with his grandbabies by his side.

All of our worlds have been completely flipped upside down as he was recently diagnosed with stage four cancer, which has rapidly spread all over his body.

For the first time in his life, his body has stopped him from doing what he loves, which is working, providing, and giving. Being with his family, friends, laughing, and joking.

Meanwhile, my mother has also had to quit working in order to be by his side.

My parents have quickly gone through their savings to pay for hospital bills and hotel stays.

My parents have never been the type of people to ask anybody for anything.

I cannot remember a time that my parents didn’t wake up early and go to work.

So, I’m asking for them. Any support would be truly and greatly appreciated.

My father is a walking angel, and if you have met him or know him, then you already know.
