Hello everyone,

My name is Teayana, and I am a mother to two incredible children who are my entire world.

In May 2022, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. What began as a frightening diagnosis has turned into a journey that has tested me in every way imaginable. Over the last four years, I have endured countless treatments, hospital stays, procedures, setbacks, victories, and moments where I wasn’t sure what tomorrow would bring. Through it all, I have continued to fight, love, laugh, and show up for my children as best as I can.

Recently, I received difficult news. My doctor informed me that I have exhausted all standard treatment options and clinical trials available through his hospital. Based on the progression of my disease, he shared that my prognosis may be approximately 12–15 months. While hearing those words was heartbreaking, my story is not over.

I have been referred to another hospital and specialist who focuses on advanced clinical trials, and I remain hopeful that there may still be options available to me. As long as there is a door to knock on, I will continue searching for it.

As many of you know, being a single mother while battling cancer comes with challenges that extend far beyond treatment. Due to my illness and the demands of ongoing medical care, I have been unable to maintain employment. My days are often filled with appointments, scans, treatments, recovery, and managing the physical effects of cancer. These realities have created significant financial strain for my family.

The funds raised through this campaign will help cover essential living expenses, including housing, transportation, medical-related travel, and costs associated with seeking additional treatment opportunities, as well as helping me leave something behind for my children should the time come. They will also help me continue creating stability, memories, and experiences with my children while I have the opportunity to do so.

One of my greatest concerns has never been myself—it has always been my children. Every donation, share, prayer, message, and act of kindness helps lighten the burden and allows me to focus more of my energy on my health and my family.
