On March 22nd, my world changed forever when my long-term partner, Manuel, was killed. Manuel was not only an incredible partner but also a devoted father to both of his children. He was the heart of our home, always making sure our family was cared for and our needs were met. His sudden loss has left me facing challenges I never imagined, both emotionally and financially.

Manuel took care of our housing expenses and bills, and now, with him gone, I am starting from scratch. I do work a part-time job, but it’s not enough to cover everything needed to rebuild our lives. The uncertainty of how to provide stability for our daughter and myself is overwhelming, but I know I have to keep moving forward for her sake.
