Hello from Team Shaka's Co-Presidents, Isa Bayona and Sofia Barrientos! Team Shaka is a student-run hip-hop team at Chapman University that provides members with opportunities to train, perform, and teach various forms of hip-hop dance.

This year, we are thrilled to have the opportunity to compete at the Journey Dance Awards in March! This will be the first time Team Shaka competes! As a performance-based team, we are ready to take a step forward into the competitive space and grow together. We kindly ask for your support as we embark on a new journey and provide a unique experience to our members.

Your valuable donation would go toward uniforms, costumes, transportation, and the opportunity to bring in guest teachers. Your financial support will provide our Chapman dance community with rich experiences we do not currently get from our regular curriculum.
