10 years ago, at 17yrs old, Michaela was diagnosed with her first Cancer. Since then, she has had 4 additional cancer diagnoses and 1 bone marrow transplant.

Unfortunately, the bone marrow transplant did not work and cancer came back. This time, it was Leukemia. After months of chemo and hospital stays she had her 2nd bone marrow transplant Early May. We were ecstatic to have doctors that were able to find a match!

If there is anything to know about Michaela, it is that she is tough. She continues to fight even on the worst days when all anyone would want to do is give up. And did I mention her positive spirit? She goes through the wringer and this time is no different. Even with fevers, side effects from the medications, and exhaustion, she continues to smile and laugh with her team of nurses and doctors.

It goes without saying, she is going to come out of this stronger than ever and never look back!
