Support Team Desi Roller Derby‘s World Cup Journey!

Team Desi is a collective team made up of South Asian athletes, and seeks to highlight the immense talent and athleticism that we have as Desi folks. We are a team deeply rooted in color, culture, food, joy, and family from our ancestors, and we are more than excited to say that we will be playing at our first World Cup!

Our team is all about bringing together Desi skaters to let them know that they have a home here with us in the world of roller derby, and that we seek to foster an environment that is accepting, fun, inclusive, kind, and full of excitement.

Our next big tournament is the Roller Derby World Cup in Innsbruck, Austria in July of 2025. This is a major accomplishment for our team but, as you can imagine, will also require a lot of funds, so we are asking for your help. Any funds raised will be used to support the team and ensure we can carry on this team into future world cups and supporting Desi skaters for many years to come!

Any funds raised will be used to help us on our journey including -

*The purchase of merch to bring to tournaments to sell

*Funds for a team dinner at the World Cup

*Funds for a team activity at the World Cup

*Funding towards team uniforms and equipment.

*Funding towards team travel and accommodation.
