MEET THE 2025 TEAM BAHAMAS ISA WORLD SURFING GAMES TEAM:
New Providence's Lili Wagner will become the first Bahamian woman to represent the black, gold and aquamarine in an ISA World Surfing Games since 2009, when she touches down in Surf City, El Salvador this September.
Abaco sons Christopher Albury, Joey Gale and Luke "Prosa Power" Prosa again represent the colours of the 242 proudly, competing in their second straight International Surfing Association World Surfing Games.
The trio placed 41st out of 51 countries in Arecibo, Puerto Rico last February in the Bahamas' first foray back onto the international surfing stage since 2009.
The Bahamas Surfing Association is the ISA-recognized, governing body of the sport for the Bahamas, and a registered non-profit. We are raising funds to send Team Bahamas to the World Surfing Games in El Salvador this September and the World Junior Surfing Championships in 2026.
Expenses will include housing, travel, per diem and registration fees.
The International Surfing Association's World Surfing Games is used as the qualifying competition to the Olympics and gives Bahamian surfers a chance to surf in a top-level competition, with each surfer guaranteed a minimum of two surfs.
Our goal is always to have fun, learn and make a heat!
Let's go Team Bahamas!
On a broader level your support also helps our community outreach programs like surf clubs and surf camps for local Bahamian youths to learn and progress in the sport.
The ISA's motto is "A Better World through Surfing", and we strongly subscribe to the philosophy that the benefits of becoming a surfer provides a lifetime of benefits.
As current BSA Acting President I, Tom Glucksmann, am organizing this crowdfunding effort.
Let's take 242 to da World!
