Todo nuestro recorrido se remonta a 2023, bajo el sol de Maracaibo en la 1era edición oficial de la Copa Ka’i. Lo que nació como un sueño de estudiantes apasionados, rápidamente se convirtió en un referente de la robótica nacional. Desde nuestros inicios, los integrantes de Team Astrobots #21552 nos hemos destacado en gran manera por nuestra disciplina y creatividad, lo que ha llevado a varios integrantes de nuestro equipo a ser seleccionados para representar con orgullo al Team Venezuela en el FIRST Global Challenge, la competencia más importante de robótica en el mundo.

Recientemente, pusimos a prueba nuestro talento en el FTC Italian Championship este pasado mes de Marzo. No solo competimos contra los mejores del mundo en la categoría; regresamos a casa con el Primer Lugar del Connect Award, un reconocimiento a nuestra capacidad de conectar el mundo de la ingeniería y la comunidad.

Más importante aún, gracias a nuestro impecable desempeño desde el inicio hasta el final obtuvimos uno de los únicos cuatro pases de clasificación dentro de dicho torneo para competir en eventos internacionales de élite. Gracias a nuestro arduo trabajo y esfuerzo materializado en el reconocimiento internacional, hoy tenemos en nuestras manos el honor de representar a Venezuela en el Istanbul Premier Event en Turquía, del 26 al 28 de junio de 2026.

Contamos con proyectos masivos, diseños revolucionarios, grandes ideas y sobretodo la pasión que se requiere, pero hay un reto que nos impide continuar nuestro camino hacia Estambul, y esa es la falta de recursos económicos suficientes para poder participar.

Ser un equipo de robótica en Venezuela de por sí implica superar retos de cáracter logístico y económico inmensos. De forma que cada uno de nuestros integrantes y el robot puedan llegar a la cancha en Turquía y levantar nuestra bandera en alto, necesitamos recaudar fondos que cubran:

• Boletos aéreos (Venezuela - Turquía).

• Alojamiento y viáticos para la delegación.

• Materiales y transporte técnico del robot.

• Inscripciones y logística del evento.

Cada dólar invertido en Team Astrobots no es solo para un viaje; es una inversión en el futuro tecnológico y la innovación juvenil de Venezuela. Team Astrobots #21552: From Maracaibo to Istanbul

Our journey began in 2023, under the warm sun of Maracaibo at the first official edition of Copa Ka’i (our national competition). What started as just a dream of passionate students, evolved rapidly into a team that represents a benchmark for robotics in our country. Since our very beginning, the #21552 team Astrobots' members have stood out fascinatingly for our discipline and creativity, wonderful qualities that have led several of our members to be selected to represent Team Venezuela at FIRST Global Challenge, the most prestigious and relevant robotics competition in the entire world.

Two months ago, in March, we put our talent to the test at the FTC Italian Championship. We didn't just compete against the best teams of the world; we returned home with the 1st Place Connect Award, a recognition of our ability to bridge the gap between engineering and our local community.

Even more important, thanks to our flawless performance from start to finish, we secured one of only four qualifying spots for elite international tournament events. As a result of our hard work and international recognition, we now have the distinct honor of representing Venezuela at the Istanbul Premier Event in Turkey, from June 26 to 28, 2026.

We've got massive projects, revolutionary designs, and, above all, the required passion. Nevertheless, there's one issue preventing us from reaching Istanbul: a lack of sufficient financial resources to cover up our participation.

It's not a secret to anyone that being a robotics team in Venezuela inherently means overcoming immense logistical and economic obstacles. To ensure that every team member and our robot can reach the game field in Turkiyë and raise our flag to the sky, we need to raise funds to cover:

• Airfare: Venezuela – Turkey.

• Accommodation and Per Diem: For the entire team.

• Materials and Technical Transport: For the robot and equipment.

•Registration and Event Logistics.

Every dollar invested in Team Astrobots is more than just a travel expense; it's an investment in the technological future and young innovation in Venezuela.
