Support Teala, Jordan, and Baby Karter's NICU Journey

Hi everyone! My name is Carrie. I am setting up this GoFundMe for my friends Teala and Jordan and their baby Karter Kash. He was born on June 17th, 2025. Baby Karter was diagnosed with Klinefelter Syndrome, which is a chromosome disorder. He was also born premature and because of that is a NICU baby, he is still on monitors and having episodes where he stops breathing. Doctors are running test and trying to get to the bottom of what’s going on because since being born and placed in the NICU, it’s been an up and down battle. While he is a heck of a fighter, it’s still a long road ahead!

We were told he was coming home soon, and that changed when doctors stated they needed him at a higher level nicu and he needed to be transferred to a different hospital. He was transferred yesterday to a Hospital and NICU about 40 minutes from their house. Because of this they are currently out of work. There also isn’t room at Ronald McDonald House for them to stay right now, so they’re having no choice but to drive back and forth, and gas is expensive! Our understanding is, he won’t be home anytime soon as the doctors don’t have answers currently, Anything helps: sharing, donating, spreading the news. Prayers!
