My daughter’s heart is so precious and kind for starting this additional site for one of our programs, “Shattered Glass”.
She was 11 years old when she was told about my health. Now at 15 years, she herself is wanting to HELP support this program, which is an extensions of our mission. Shattered Glass, focuses on healing children from the news of cancer with their loved one.
She personally knows the gutting pain of dealing with this for the past 4 years.
Going forward, We would like to ‘thank’ all of you for your generosity and support.

Debra My Mom Fought for Her Life.
Now I'm Asking You to Help Her Keep Fighting for Others.
Hi, I am the daughter of Debra (who is my mom) who almost died of ovarian cancer in 2022. I was 11 years old. I am now, 15 years old.
My mom, has always told me that no matter how hard life gets, you never give up. She taught me to be brave, to have faith, and to always help people. Then one day, life tested everything she believed. When my mom was diagnosed with ovarian cancer (OC), I was terrified. I watched my best friend, my hero, and the person who always made me feel safe fight for her life.
I saw her go through surgeries, treatments, pain, and fear that no child should ever have to watch their mommy endure. There were moments when we almost lost her, and I prayed every single day that God would let me keep my mom.
By the grace of God, the incredible doctors who cared for her, and the prayers of so many people, my mom survived.
Most people would have stopped there. But not my mom. Instead of asking, "Why me?" she asked, "How can I help someone else?" She took her pain and turned it into a mission, a purpose.
She founded the Teal Ribbon Ovarian Cancer, (TROC) a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, because she never wanted another little girl to experience the fear of almost losing her mommy. She wanted women to know the early warning signs of ovarian cancer before it was too late.
Today, TROC’s mission is simple but life-changing: To provide patient shepherding, education, and provider support so women receive early detection, compassionate-care, and life-saving guidance.
Mom said, through awareness, support, and advocacy, she is working to make sure no mom/woman has to face ovarian cancer alone.
Teal Ribbon Ovarian Cancer, also supports a program she created, from my pain into purpose called, “Shattered Glass”. She is helping the family, kids like me to find healing too. When we heard my mom had a 21cm cancer tumor in torsion, there was no one there for my dad and I. We were lost and afraid of losing her. Four years later, we are still healing from her OC journey.
While she spends her time helping other women and their families, while our own family is still carrying the weight of everything cancer left behind.
My mom never asks anyone for help. She's always the one giving it.
So today, I'm asking for her. If you can donate to our GoFundMe, you are helping other children like me. You’re also helping my mom continue healing. You’re helping her continue saving lives through “Teal Ribbon Ovarian Cancer” Organization.
You are helping other mothers learn the warning signs, find hope sooner, and have the chance to go home to their children.
