Support Teacher Quirk's Name Change

Hey Sherwood Forest! I am Alonzo Quirk (Teacher Quirk). I am a Para III here at Sherwood, I’m the one in the mask sporting the Scooby-Doo lanyard.

I am a transgender educator. For those who may not have transitioned (or if you do not know anyone who is transitioning/has transitioned) you may be surprised to learn that there is a ton of paperwork! I am eagerly beginning the process of legally changing my name to Alonzo!

This process is a bit tedious and comes with a lot of steps. I am humbly requesting y’all’s financial support as I begin this next part of my journey. I know times are tight for everyone but if you are able, please consider donating to my GoFundMe campaign.

Reasoning for Cost Breakdown

Copies of Name Change Order (about $25): As a part of the name change process, I need several copies of my Name Change Order. For each agency that I need to appeal to, they typically request a copy that I do not get back. (WA ID, Birth Certificate, SSN, Passport, Bank, BSD, etc.)

Application Fee: About $100

Individual Name Change Petition: About $200+

Total funds that I will need to get my name changed in WA: Approximately $350
