My best friend Tea and her sister Stella just lost their dad earlier this year and now just months later, their mom Silva has also passed. If you knew her, you know she wasn’t some quiet background character, she was a force to be reckoned with. Strong, stubborn in the best way, and completely devoted to her girls. Losing her this soon after Micky, has knocked the wind out of all of us. Tea and Stella are doing everything they can to stay upright trying to keep their lives steady while dealing with the kind of loss most people don’t face in a lifetime, let alone in the same year. They’re handling everything they can on their own, but the funeral and cremation costs are heavy. They just want to give their mother, Silva, the respectful goodbye she deserves without drowning in debt. I’m starting this fundraiser to help lift even a bit of the weight off their shoulders.
