Help Us Save Our Sweet Boy, Taz

Hi my name is Crystal and I never imagined I’d be creating a GoFundMe, and to be honest, it’s a bit embarrassing. But tonight, one of our beloved furbabies, Taz, was bitten by a water moccasin and had to be rushed to the emergency vet.

Unfortunately, with everything going on in our lives—including the adoption process we’re currently navigating—we’re facing financial challenges and simply can’t afford the cost of this unexpected emergency. We’re in the process of applying for ScratchPay, but even with that, the monthly payments will be a struggle.

We’re asking for help to get Taz the care he needs. Instead of providing my PayPal, we felt it would be easier and more transparent for those who would prefer to donate directly to the emergency vet or contribute through this fundraiser. I have attached the estimate so you can see what all is being requested/recommended. Also, if you want to donate to the ER Vet directly, their information is at the top.

Both of our dogs were trying to defend each other from the snake, but it appears Taz—our oldest—was the only one bitten. He’s such a fighter, and we want to give him every chance possible to recover.

We’ve set the goal on the higher end of the estimate to prepare for the worst-case scenario (and let’s be honest—vet bills almost always end up there). Any unused funds will be paid forward to help another family in need.
