Taz has had multiple surgeries which was unexpected. his appts are 1 week apart. doc says we are going to have to make a a much more aggressive approach. he is still acting in a happy manner. doesn't seem in pain looks good and acts full of energy. he loves all his rides. always happy and well behaved. he loves meeting new people. unfortunately all these surgery's have emptied are funds. when I 1st opened the go fund me fund I was thinking he would have 1 sergury. he is on anti cancer medicine which is expensive. now we have to raise his dosage. each trip to the vet is an hour and a half which turns out to be 3 hours of driving. at this point we are not sure if we can afford to continue his treatment. the Dr. feels that this treatment can overcome his cancer. so we have been optimistic. I'm also looking for a hospice type foster. someone that can stay onto of his meds and his weekly apptments. please donate now to keep him alive. the last thing I would even want to consider is putting him down. please help us now fighting for his life just because of zero funds. we do want to thank you for your past donations. now
I'm Jodi and I met this pup named "Taz" the first time about three years ago when he and his siblings were first found abandoned, left behind by previous renters, left to die. Unfortunately, one of his sisters did. No mother and no owners. My friends and I found homes for the other four puppies but couldn't find a home for Taz. A close friend at the time said she would foster him.
Well, this growth started in his mouth two years ago and just recently got obnoxiously big where now a tooth is in the middle of it, and it's large and bright red. He eats and drinks with no problem, never whimpers or cries in pain, but it won't stop growing. He needs surgery right away. The condition stems from the jawbone and could be a very large surgery depending on how much they have to cut out of his bone. The condition is called Peripheral Odontogenic Fibroma and Epulis and is treatable with surgery.
Taz is a young, spirited boy with lots of life in him. He has two other brother dogs he gets along with and loves everyone. He is a good dog. I hate to see him suffering. I just recently re-acquainted with Taz and his new family, seeing him for the first time again, and this growth was horrible. He's grown so much, but so has this growth in his mouth. His new family that saved his life can't afford to pay for the surgery as times have gotten tough for them.
I wish to sponsor Taz by starting this GoFundMe and getting his story out through social media. Please help me spread his story and/or donate to the "Taz" fund. Thank you very much.
