Thursday June 12th my boyfriend was shot in Mankato mn. He had to undergo an emergency surgery to repair his lung and liver and was on a ventilator and heavily sedated. Within 24hours he had to undergo an extensive surgery to repair his spine as it had 16 fractures and had to be wired back together . Tay is off the ventilator and breathing on his own. He will be moved out of the ICU and still undergoing extensive medical care . Once he is able to leave the hospital he will have to go to a rehabilitation facility to learn how to walk again. This process has no time frame it will all depend on the healing. I now live in fear for myself and my daughter and feel unsafe where we live . Because of my mental health and safety reasons I am unable to work and we still have bills. If anyone can help with anything it would be appreciated.
