Over the last few months I have been experiencing various health issues (shortness of breath, nausea, dizziness, erratic heartbeat, etc) and have been working with my PCP to try to figure out what has been the cause. Recently I have begun to also pass out. Last week I passed out 3 separate times in a single day- all my blood work and my ekg came back normal. This morning I had another fainting episode which led to me faceplanting directly into the concrete floor. I woke up surrounded by blood and was taken to the local emergency room where they discovered that I had 4 separate fractures in my mandible along with broken teeth and a one inch laceration in my chin that had to be stitched up. Again- all my tests have been normal and no explanation has been found so far as to what has caused this episode. My local hospital transferred me to Wake Forest Baptist where I am now admitted for observation, further testing, and reconstructive jaw surgery where I will have a metal plate put in and my jaw wired. This surgery has an 8 week recovery period. I am a server so unfortunately I do not get any PTO or medical leave and if I am not working I am not making money. Thankfully I do have health insurance that I pay for. This gofundme is for bill assistance, transport to my follow up visits and any other thing I may need during this surgery and recovery time.
