Hi friends,

I'm raising money to attend the Women of Earth retreat , a weeklong gathering in West Virginia for women-identifying folk centered on personal growth, community building, and leading our lives with more courage and clarity so we can create the world we want to live in.

Usually when I see retreats I want to attend I write them off before I even try: too expensive, too far, too scary…

But this time I’m going for it, because something inside me says I must.

In a very short amount of time I have connected deeply with this profoundly transformational community. I am seeing myself more clearly, healing deep wounds, reclaiming my wild, taking greater responsibility for my life, and stepping into my power; all with a team beside me. This is my opportunity to meet my new friends in person and dive even deeper into what we’ve been cultivating: for myself, my village and this planet.

I’ve been building a life in Tulsa rooted in art and community: I started an ongoing ecstatic dance in 2022, I share my medicine through music and art, I support the fight for food sovereignty at the farmer’s market, and I continually align myself with people working toward a better future.

And still, I stall out.

I’m afraid to be big. I’m afraid to claim what I want.

Fear stops me from fully committing to what I know I’m here to offer– as an artist, advocate, cycle-breaker, change-maker, and healer. This retreat is the next step in facing that fear and stepping into my roles anyway, with support, accountability, and my community beside me.

At the Women of Earth retreat I will create and collaborate with other women who are passionate about changing the world, together. I will clarify my vision, grow my confidence and step more fully into who I am becoming, for myself, my community, and the planet.

How your donation will help

I work full time at Garden Deva and the Tulsa Farmer’s Market, and I’m transitioning into holding space for clients as an Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) candidate starting late January. I love supporting this community through my jobs at these two small local businesses, but they only cover my basic expenses, and I can’t fund this trip in time on my own.

Your support will go toward retreat costs, food, lodging, and plane tickets. The retreat fee is $1050, plus $200 for food, $600 for housing, and $300 for a round-trip ticket to Charlestown, West Virginia.

My print offering is an homage to a personal spirit guide: the Wild Wolf Woman Grief Goddess, who reminds me that my wild feelings and wild grief are gifts; may she be a reminder to you too.

I am working with the incredibly talented and gracious Jillian Rutherford to finalize a design. In the meantime, I have included our phase 1 sketch in the pictures for you to get an idea of the final vision. Each print will be a hand-pulled block print in black ink.

Receive an original intuitive ink meditation created uniquely from our shared energetic field. Inked on 11’x17’ (approximately) unbleached Mashi paper + a limited edition Taylord cassette tape.

Based on the Wild Wolf Woman Grief Goddess print, I am creating an 8-foot metal Wild Wolf Woman sculpture. I will be sharing process updates on my social pages and website as I continue to search for her forever home. From my heart

I’m asking for your help as Tay, a local wild woman finding her voice and returning to her power.

I’m afraid because I’ve never raised money for myself like this before, yet I am so inspired by the way this community shows up for one another in living our truth.

This is me showing up in vulnerability, asking for what I want.
