Hi there! My name is Taylor, and I am a recent J.D. graduate who needs financial assistance for family planning.
You see, I have always known I wanted to be a mommy, just like I've always known I wanted to be an attorney. I just graduated in May 2025 and sat for the July 2025 Bar Exam. I don't have a job lined up yet, and my health insurance will expire on August 31, 2025.
After I graduated, I told myself I would finally schedule the fertility appointment that had to be put off because of my class schedule. Lo and behold, after all of my test results came back, I was told I need to harvest my eggs and freeze embryos immediately, if I were ever to have a choice of getting pregnant and having a baby. At 31 years old, I have four or five eggs, which is significantly less than the average number of eggs for a 31-year-old. Additionally, all of my hormone levels are far below where they should be. My doctors are worried that the longer I wait, the less I'll have, and the quality will go down.
I am trying to schedule my retrieval surgery before the end of August 2025, and even though my insurance is covering a good percentage of the costs, this is still a very costly path to go down in such a short amount of time. I expect to pay at least $10,000 in the form of medical appointments, fertility drugs, the surgery itself, purchasing donor sperm (I am single), embryo creation, freezing, storage costs, and so much more.
It would mean the world to me if you could assist me in giving myself and my future family a chance to bring a life into this world.
