Hi! I'm Taylor and I'm raising funds for a great opportunity for me to expand my education in the medical field. I was offered a spot at the National Youth Leadership Forum for Medicine and Health Care (click link below for more information). I am excited to go for 10 days to either Berkeley in California or Emory University in Georgia during summer 2025! I get to be taught by professors from top medical and healthcare universities like Stanford, find more community, and learn life-saving techniques in high-stress simulations.
The medical field is interesting to me because I think how the human body works is fascinating. From a young age, I never wanted to pursue post-graduate education, but that all changed in 9th grade when I discovered how intriguing the complex details of human biology can be! My biology teacher nominated me for HOSA - a global organization that empowers students to become leaders in the healthcare community - in the fall of 9th grade and the rest is history!
