Hello, this is Jim, Taylor Crawford’s dad. Taylor is suffering from the rare neurological medical condition called Dysautonomia, which results in body temperature disregulation and unbearable heat intolerance. It’s very severe in Taylor’s case as he feels like he is burning up in his own skin. Taylor is now unable to do most anything he used to love doing. He can’t go outside, have sunlight on him, and even ride in the car if it’s sunny. Taylor spends his days secluded, inside, and with drawn curtains. It's a miserable existance.

This first started about 5 years ago soon after Taylor had Lyme disease. The doctors feel that it intensified when Taylor contracted COVID a few years later. And over the past couple of yeas the heat sensitivity has gotten progressively worse.

He's been told to just hydrate, stay in a cool space, and wear light clothing. That hasn’t helped much.

However, just recently we found a clinic that specializes in neurological disorders, which this is and it sounds promising. Luckily they are located in Portland, ME, which is just an hour away. Portland Chiroparactic Neurology is experienced in Dysautonomia and has successfully treated people with heat intolerance.

They have a therapy session that Taylor could attend and it can last up to six months or more. Including the initial exam, testing, and treatments it will cost approximately $18,000.

Taylor doesn't have insurance that will cover most of these costs. We are hoping you can help Taylor with a donation supporting his fight against this miserable condition.
