Support Taylor's Family in Septic Crisis

Hi, everyone. We never thought we’d be in this position, but we’re reaching out for help during a truly difficult time.

Our family of seven moved into our home just three years ago, thinking it would be a safe and stable place to raise our kids. Unfortunately, we are now facing a massive and unexpected crisis—our cesspool & septic tank has completely failed due to bio mat buildup, and when we use water it’s backing up into the basement of our home.

Right now, we’re living with severe restrictions just to prevent further damage. We have to take military-style showers, avoid using our dishwasher and laundry, and only flush when absolutely necessary. We had it pumped out twice in the last month and will have to continue to do so if the tank fills up again which is $250 per pump out. It’s overwhelming, unsanitary, and stressful, especially with five kids in the house 24/7 since we are a homeschooling family.

Replacing our entire septic system is our only option, but the cost is devastating. We have already depleted our savings and our tax return to try and fix this problem but unfortunately its not feasible. We’ve exhausted every avenue we can think of, including reaching out about local grants, taking out a HELOC, & even doing it ourselves but this repair is beyond what we can do and afford on our own.
