hello, my name is taylor wood. this is something i normally don’t do or really know how to do, yesterday evening 8/6/2024 my garage caught fire from either a power tool charger or a E-bike charger. my two little sisters were the only ones home AT THE TIME with our 7 cats and 2 dogs AND LEOPARD GECKO.

the smoke QUICKLY filled the whole entire garage and THEN ERUPTED IN FLAMES burning all of mine, my dads, my two sisters, and my little brothers THINGS INCLUDING clothing, CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS, SHOES, SOCCER GEAR, irreplaceable childhood PHOTOS THAT CAN NEVER BE REPLACED, ALL OUR memories AND SCHOOL WORK SINCE PRESCHOOL IS GONE, AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, EVERY SINGLE WORK TOOL OF my DADS is destroyed. basically all of our personal belongings AND FAMILY MEMORIES got completely destroyed in this fire. my little sisters BEDROOM WAS THE CLOSEST TO THE GARAGE SO SHE SUFFERED THE MOST LOST BY FAR. HER birthday is august 8th SO I STARTED this go fund me to not only help her REPLACE ITEMS LOST IN THE FIRE BUT BE ABLE TO EASE THE STRESS OF GETTING ALL NEW SCHOOL CLOTHES AS SHE STARTS HER FRESHMAN YEAR OF HIGH SCHOOL. I ALSO WANT TO EASE THE BURDEN ON MY DAD WHO IS A single father. he is an amazing dad and a very stubborn one, WHO WOULD NEVER EVER ASK FOR HELP OR A HANDOUT but IS the most supportive, amazing man i could’ve asked to be my dad! i love him so much and this breaks my heart all of his hard work is gone. thankfully all the animals are safe, most of the cats were in the garage when it caught on fire causing them to breathe in the smoke and get all wet from the hose spraying them, they will all need to be taken to the vet to get examined for their health. i couldn’t give an exact number of the amount of stuff we lost but most of it was not replaceable. anything helps, and thank you so much.
