My name is Taylor Darlene Keeton, and I am a proud first-year junior Honors English major at Howard University from Richmond, California. While I am active on campus as a member of the Black Women in Pre-Law Society, HU Rotaract Club, Residence Life Royal Court, and more, I am also a dedicated member of the College of Arts and Sciences Honors Association. As a requirement for the Honors Association, I must study abroad and publish a senior thesis by early April of my graduation year. My official thesis is about the intersectionality of Black American culture and liberalism and China. With your support, I will be able to study abroad in China this summer for my requirement, thesis research, and experiential learning.
