**IMPORTANT UPDATE!**
We’ve received the good news that employees at Taylor Regional Hospital have now been paid, and we are incredibly grateful.
At the same time, we know that going weeks without a paycheck doesn’t immediately resolve the financial strain many are still facing.
Because of that, we’re moving forward with a combined purpose:
- Supporting any remaining financial needs.
- Creating an Appreciation Celebration to honor the hospital staff.
Tom is still running the 18 miles, and your support will help us do both: Provide assistance and show our gratitude to those who care for Hawkinsville.
Thank you for the incredible outpouring of support—it’s a powerful reminder that we take care of each other.
**Given this update, if you would prefer a refund, please reach out and we’ll take care of it.
--------------
Hi everyone! The employees of Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville, Georgia, are facing an incredibly difficult time. Due to ongoing funding issues, the hospital has been unable to pay its hardworking staff for weeks. Many of these employees have dedicated their lives to caring for others, and now they find themselves in a situation they never expected—struggling to cover basic needs like groceries, bills, and gas.
Instead of just talking about the problem, we decided to take action. We know how hard it is to ask for help, but also know how powerful a caring community can be. To show our support and raise funds for those most in need, Tom is stepping out of his comfort zone: the longest he’s ever run is 17 miles, but as a fundraiser for these employees, Tom is going to run 18 miles. And we’re asking you to be a part of it. You can sponsor the run by giving per mile—whatever you feel led to give—or you can just make a flat donation. If you’re able to give, we’d really appreciate it. And if you can’t give right now, sharing this would mean just as much. The employees at Taylor Regional Hospital are there for us when we need them, let’s be there for them when they need us.
Every dollar raised will go directly to the employees who need it most, helping them get through this tough period until the hospital’s funding is restored. Please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser—your support will make a real difference in the lives of people who have always been there for our community. Thank you, Tom and Renee Hill Excelsior Self Defense & Fitness, LLC. Hawkinsville, Georgia
** No raffles, sweepstakes, giveaways, or promotions are offered in exchange for any donations made.
