As many of you know, our communities at Pinnacle Port and Carillon have suffered the tragic loss of a very special young man, Stone Romberg. Our hearts are broken for everyone who knew and loved him. Stone was the manager of the Chair Service at Pinnacle Port Condominiums at Carillon Beach and was known by a lot of our owners and guests. On Sunday afternoon, Stone was fishing near the inlet when his cast caught a seagull. We understand that Stone swam out to help untangle the bird from the lure. During the rescue, the hook and bird became caught on Stone’s hand, and as Stone tried to swim back, the current carried Stone farther out. Tragically, Stone drowned.

This fundraiser is for Stone’s wife, Taylor, and their two precious little girls, ages 1 and 3, as they face the unimaginable loss of their husband and daddy. We also hold Stone’s family close in our hearts as they mourn their beloved son, brother, and so much more. The funds raised will help Taylor and the girls financially during this devastating loss, including easing the burden of hospital bills and funeral expenses.
