Several dozen people recently experienced a devastating loss when their condo building caught on fire in Redwood City. Building residents are now facing the challenge of rebuilding their lives from scratch. Thankfully, all are safe, but the emotional and financial toll of losing their home and belongings is immense. The process of recovering from such a tragedy is overwhelming, especially with the uncertainty of when insurance funds will be released.

The funds raised here will be used to acquire essential replacement belongings that were lost in the fire, help with transportation costs, and generally bridge any funding needs as a result of the fire. Our hope is that this support will help these families return to normalcy as soon as possible, and ease some of the burdens they are facing during this very difficult time.
