My name is Tawny Cowell, and I am thrilled to share an incredible opportunity—I have been selected to play for the USA Master Inline Women's Team at the MIHWA World Championships in Bavaria, Germany, in May 2025!

As a Northern California resident, wife, mother, and lifelong hockey enthusiast, this achievement is deeply personal. I am blessed to be part of this wonderful sport that my whole family participates in, and I continue to be a strong advocate when it comes to growing the sport in our community. As the board president for Shasta Roller Hockey League, I am proud to be part of the team ensuring that future athletes have the same opportunities I’ve had. This tournament is more than just a competition for me; it’s a chance to build connections, gain experience, and bring knowledge back to benefit young athletes in the Northstate.

Hockey has been a passion of mine since I was five years old, and I am honored to wear the red, white, and blue on the world stage.
