It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating news that Erik passed away on August 6th, after a courageous battle with sarcoma cancer. He leaves behind his beloved fiancé Tawny and their twin boys, Lucas and Freddy, who just turned 2 on August 7th.

He was only 23 years old, but he lived with more passion, love, and joy than most do in a lifetime. Erik was funny, kind, and full of life. He loved music, guns, cooking, and turning even the most ordinary days into an adventure. He treated Tawny like a queen, kept their home full of love and laughter, and was so unintentionally funny that just being around him felt like sunshine. Throughout his illness, Erik fought with incredible strength, never complaining, and always putting his family first.

Now Tawny faces the impossible...grieving the love of her life while caring for two toddlers as a single mother, all while dealing with the overwhelming cost of living, medical bills, and final expenses. She has just four days to make critical decisions about Erik's arrangements, but currently has no income to cover these costs or to support her family moving forward.
