Tawanda Jones is a much-loved teacher, respected leader of the West Coalition, and someone who has made an impact on countless lives throughout her community.

After experiencing a serious medical emergency, Tawanda underwent several significant surgeries and intense interventions. We are incredibly thankful that she is doing well and continuing to make encouraging progress. We also know that her recovery will take time, patience, strength, and support.

Tawanda has always been someone who shows up for others. Whether through her work as a teacher, her leadership, or simply being the person her family and friends can depend on, she has spent years pouring into the people around her.

Now, we are asking her community to help us pour some of that love back into her.
