Support Tavon Moore's Road to Recovery

On August 2nd, 2025, Tavon Moore—an officer with the Mississippi Highway Patrol—was involved in a serious on-duty accident on the Coast. His injuries were significant, and according to doctors, his road to recovery is expected to take months.

Tavon is not only a dedicated law enforcement officer but also a loving husband and father to three young children. This unexpected tragedy has turned his family’s world upside down. His wife and children are doing their best to stay strong, but the emotional and financial toll is immense. They are now facing the emotional and financial strain of a long recovery journey—one expected to take several months—which includes frequent travel to and from the hospital, time away from work, and a growing list of expenses.

We’ve created this GoFundMe to help ease the burden on the Moore family during this incredibly difficult time. All funds raised will go directly toward:

• Travel costs, including gas and lodging as his family commutes to and from the hospital

• Childcare needs and everyday essentials for their three children

• Meals and support for the family as they juggle recovery, hospital stays, and caring for their little ones

• Any unexpected costs that may arise during Tavon’s long healing journey

We’ve also set up a Meal Train and an Amazon Wishlist for those who would prefer to help in other ways.
