On September 1st, our beloved cousin Tavares Marks passed away unexpectedly, leaving our family heartbroken and unprepared for the weight of this loss.

Tavares was more than just family—he was a source of light, laughter, and love in all of our lives. Whether you knew him as a friend, cousin, brother, or neighbor, you knew how deeply he cared for those around him. His sudden passing has left a void that words can’t fill.

As we come to terms with this tragedy, we are also facing the difficult reality of funeral expenses. Unfortunately, Tavares did not have life insurance, and the financial burden has fallen on our family during an already painful time.
